Strawberry Pineapple Mango Rum Jello

Strawberry Pineapple Mango Rum Jello is a delicious boozy fruity summer dessert!

Jello shots are a party favorite for large gatherings as well as small! But what if your looking for a little more refined of a jello treat for your next gathering. Well look no farther…the answer your looking for is a rum jello with fresh fruit that is served in a fancy martini glass rather than a plastic shot glass!

You start with mashing fresh strawberries and cooking them over the stove to replace the “boiling water” portion of the jello recipe.

Since you will be scooping the jello out to serve it in the fancy martini glass you can make the jello in any shape container. I used my square casserole dish because it had a lid! All you have to do is add the boiling strawberry mixture to the jello power and stir well. Once your powered is dissolved replace the “cold water” with pineapple juice and rum! Stir well and refrigerate.

Once the jello sets up, just scoop into a martini glass and top with whipped cream and strawberry slices! One of the reasons I always try to serve my boozy jello (or pudding) in adult beverage glasses is to make it look fancy. The other, and most important reason, is so that it can be clear to all my guests that it is an adult dessert and not meant for children. If there are going to be children at the party, I let the parents know that anything in an adult glass is for adults only. Then I alway make a similar looking kid friendly dessert that I serve in small clear plastic cups!

Strawberry sunday 3

This is one of my favorite boozy desserts, there is just something about how the strawberry pineapple juice and the mango flavored jello all mix together to make a refreshing twist on mixed fruit.
