10 Quick & Easy Halloween Crafts

Halloween is just around the corner, and I have yet to even considering decorating. I thought about just throwing some pumpkins out front and calling it a day. Just as I was ready to just let Halloween pass by I received an email from a follower about their free fun Halloween printable, where she stated,

Holidays are those special family occasions we all look forward to throughout the year. No matter how challenging and hard life can get, it is the perfect time to press pause and step into our own bubble surrounded with nothing but love and laughter. No one knows how fun Halloween can be better than children, and even though we usually don’t go trick-or-treating with them, we can still enjoy all the wonders of jack-o’-lantern carving, costume designing and house decoration. Of course, every parent knows these activities require a lot of work and preparations, but what’s all that compared to the happiness and joy that these precious moments bring us?

Luckily, nowadays there are so many ingenuous resources that can help us get ready for this spooky celebration. The best thing is that many of them are affordable or even free, so we can create our own haunted house setting, creepy costumes or bake delicious treats while staying on the budget.

She was right, holidays are a way to pause and enjoy family. Our daughter may not be old enough to remember how much fun Halloween can be, but that doesn’t mean we should skip it. My follower also made the comment about how much work preparing for holidays can be. Which is true, I think it was the work that was holding me back from actually doing something. So instead of throwing in the towel I did a little googling, and came up with a list of ten quick and easy Halloween crafts, that can be done last minute!

While making this list I came up with a quick and easy addition. A chalkboard Halloween sign, this is a new idea, if you remember a little while back I shared a football inspired chalkboard sign. For my Halloween sign I found a cute saying online, got out my chalk markers and started writing. I wish I would have use a bright color chalkboard pen for the spider and the web, maybe next time.
