Did you ever think about constructing your own shed, updating your bathroom tile or painting your whole house? You are probably one of those persons that think its not for you or that you can make better use of your times doing what you know best

Well, its very true. BUT there’s always an exception to the rules right?

Let’s say you earn $20 an hour, that’s $800 a week. Now let’s say that you hire someone to paint your whole house and they charge you $3000 for the job.  You will need about $500 worth of paint for 1 coat, for a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom house. And you can easily paint your whole house in a week, believe me.

So that comes up to $1300, a savings of $1700.  Start thinking about what you can buy with those $1700 or how you can spend them on a holiday with your family? Now that you understand the value of DIY ( I am not talking about very technical jobs like plumbing and electricity… you need certification for that) but rather home improvement jobs you can do yourself.

I remember the first DIY project I did with my father in Sicily, was on this villa scopelloholidayvillas.com, it’s now sold to a property development group.

Contact me for a few quick tips if you ever get stuck on ideas. I have been doing this for the past 10 years and helped families save hundreds of thousands. God bless you all.
